Roseville Planning Commission Minutes
July 1, 1987

Page 2

Berry asked as to whether more automatic doors for the handi-
capped would be available. Gary Jackson replied that they exist
on the site now.

Goedeke asked as to whether there would be a safety concern in
terms of the ring road. Vogel replied that there would be a six
foot sidewalk in the area, and that the road would include speed
bumps.

Goedeke also asked about the parking problems in the
Federal area. Vogel replied that the area would be
based on the eventual property line.

Twin City
revamped,

DeBenedet asked whether any handicapped ramps would be added,
such as the area adjacent to Leeann Chin's. Vogel replied that
the developer would certainly be willing to look at it. Johnson
asked specifically whether they would be put in. The developer
said yes, they would put them in if so required.

Maschka asked what was occurring with respect to the issue on the
adjacent fence. Vogel replied that the fence will be taken down
for construction, but put back up the same way it is now.

Johnson stated she was pleased that the developer was considering
enhancing the landscape around the complete site.

Goedeke asked as to whether the appropriate number of parking
spaces were available. Vogel replied yes, the development is
essentially one hundred and eighty over the requirement.

Moeller asked what the height of the parapet was. Vogel replied
that the parapet was 2.8 feet above roof height; therefore, some
tips may show with respect to the mechanical equipment, but every
effort would be made to place them close to the middle of the
facility.

Moeller asked what would happen with respect to the landscape by
B and Snelling. Vogel stated that after construction, that area
would be relandscaped.

Moeller asked what were the proposed colors of the development.
Vogel proceeded to show a colored rendering of the site.

DeBenedet asked what the status of the pathways would be with
respect to the development. Vogel replied that pathways on Band
Snelling are proposed on the site plan.

Johnson asked if the existing guard rail would remain.
replied that yes, it would.

Vogel

Goedeke stated his concern with respect to the way the exit near
Firestone was depicted. Vogel replied that the drawing probably
was not accurate.
