Honchell <br />responded that the applicant should capture the drainage from the <br />site at the top of the hill in a catch basin, pipe the drainage <br />to the bottom of the hill, provide an energy dissipator and then <br />let the water run as it naturally does today. Ettesvold replied <br />that they are willing to work with staff to solve the drainage <br />problem and make the property an asset to the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Averette, 1708 Galtier indicated that they lived below the hill <br />from the proposed site and were concerned about run-off from the <br />parking areas down the hill both from rain and from snow removal <br />and snow melt. She was also concerned that there be sufficient <br />screening on the west end of the parking area to protect her <br />privacy. Ettesvold replied that they would be willing to put up <br />a screen fence on the west end of the parking lot, but felt that <br />a better solution would be to plant spruce trees on the hill. <br />
