<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page# 3 <br /> <br />Wednesday, February 1, 1989 <br /> <br />Moeller asked what kind of rooftop screening would be provided at <br />the restaurant. Brown responded that they would be screened <br />using the same material as the building. <br /> <br />DeBenedet asked where sidewalks would be. Brown replied that <br />sidewalks would be along B-2 and along Fairview from property <br />line to property line. <br /> <br />DeBenedet inquired about the sediment control. Keel highlighted <br />the sediment control measures which would be taken. <br /> <br />DeBenedet expressed concern about what would happen if Rosedale <br />did not relocate the entrance as anticipated in the plan. <br />DeBenedet stated that this was a maj or question that should be <br />resolved. Brown responded that the current design is the desire <br />of all and it is there intent to do it. They have shown what <br />they were requested to by staff. If the relocation doesn't occur <br />they would still proceed with the development and construct a <br />simpler right in right out entrance at that location. <br /> <br />Johnson asked if their construction would occur before the <br />entrance change would occur. Brown responded yes. <br /> <br />Dahlgren testified that the traffic consultants for Rosedale, <br />Rosedale Marketplace Associates and the City believe that the <br />proposal as the best solution and there would be easy adjustments <br />which could be made if it doesn't occur. Dahlgren pointed out <br />that everybody is going for the best solution and if it did not <br />occur, the developer would have to come back for approval of the <br />change. <br /> <br />George Bestrom concurred that Rosedale is working to relocate its <br />entrance as shown but that has not been finalized yet. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that she was pleased with the change to the <br />entrance that the developer has made. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated his concern with long term maintenance of <br />landscaping. Brown replied that they have requested a <br />maintenance specification and that they are attempting to provide <br />simple clear direction to the unskilled laborers that would be in <br />charge of maintaining the landscaping. <br /> <br />DeBenedet asked if the City would have a developers agreement. <br />Jopke responded that they would not. <br /> <br />DeBenedet asked what provisions have been made for public <br />restrooms and handicap accessibility.
