ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

Paget14

Wednesday, May 3, 1989

Koski stated that the parking stalls would not be down sized but
that a different angle would be used.

DeBenedet pointed out that there would be a 22 foot driving
aisle.

Koski responded that there would be a total bay width of 56 feet
at 75 degrees which would leave about a 22 foot driving aisle
which is adequate.

DeBenedet pointed out that it would seem more narrow because
there would be another 20 degrees of angle to turn through to get
in and out of the parking stalls.

Johnson closed the public hearing.

Johnson stated that she felt it would be
conditions concerning the parking ramp
approval, and County approval.

important
security,

to add
RTBjMTC

DeBenedet questioned Council liaison Kehr if the Council would
accept a condition requiring that the applicant come back to the
Planning Commission and Council to review exterior building
materials. Kehr responded that he believed the Council would
accept such a condition.

Maschka pointed out that the exterior materials on the south side
of the ramp is what is critical.

Goedeke asked if the Commission will see the final design of the
Dayton's building.

Dahlgren responded that the City would have to specify that in
the approval.

DeBenedet moved and Goedeke seconded to recommend approval of a
special use permit for site plan approval for the expansion of
the Rosedale Shopping Center at 1595 Highway 36 with the
following conditions:

1. That final engineering, utility plans and specifications be
submitted for City staff approval.

2. That final plans for grading, landscaping, and sediment
control be submitted for City staff approval.

3. That detailed plans of building materials and signage be
submitted for City staff approval.
