ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

Page' 2

Wednesday, January 3, 1990

DeBenedet pointed out that the private storm sewer appears to be
located on the property line. He said it was originally supposed
to be in from the property line. DeBenedet questioned if the
County was aware of this. Keel stated that it is the County's
responsibility to inspect this. DeBenedet stated that the County
should be informed of this storm sewer location and that the
County should possibly have more future interaction with the City
and developers.

Johnson closed the public hearing.

DeBenedet stated that he is quite comfortable with the
development and likes the sign and the developer's agreement to
reduce the light wattage.

Goedeke added that he was concerned with the light being located
on the right-of-way and is now glad they are going to move the
lights and reduce wattage. Goedeke said he feels they should
notify the County of the storm sewer located on the property
line.

DeB7nedet moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the
var1ance for the 2-1/2 foot setback of the sign with the
condition that the 300 watt light be put on the property and that
the County be notified about the storm sewer location on the
property line and any County concerns be addressed.

Johnson stated that the architect did a good job with the
development's appearance.

Berry commented that the neighborhood is pleased with the
project.

Roll Call:

Ayes:

DeBenedet, Goedeke, wietecki, Berry,
Johnson

Nays:

None

Planninq File 1990

Ashland Oil request for rear yard setback, parking setback and a
number of parking stall variances at 1925 Lexington Avenue.

Jopke updated the Commission on the status of this request.
Berry moved and DeBenedet seconded to continue this item to the
February Planning Commission meeting.
