<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page' 3 <br /> <br />Wednesday, January 3, 1990 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Goedeke, wietecki, Berry, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Nays: <br />Planning File 2046 <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Roseville Properties request for rezoning from I-I Industrial to <br />B-4 Retail Office Service District, variance to amount of <br />required parking and variance to pylon sign area. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the site location, history and proposed sign <br />variance. Dahlgren outlined the Commission's concerns from the <br />previous meeting. <br /> <br />Dahlgren stated that the applicants want to build one sign of 200 <br />square feet instead of two signs of 100 square feet which is the <br />current sign requirements. <br /> <br />Daniel Commers, President of Roseville Properties introduced <br />Juris Curiskis who presented drawings of the proposal. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned if the additional right-of-way dedication <br />was filed. <br /> <br />Keel explained that it had not. Keel stated that the applicant <br />has agreed to dedicate the additional right-of-way. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that the direction of the Commission at the <br />previous meeting was that the dedication occur prior to further <br />consideration of the proposal by the Commission. <br /> <br />Commers said they do not have a problem with dedicating the <br />additional right-of-way. <br /> <br />Johnson suggested that dedication should be completed within the <br />two week period between the Planning Commission meeting and the <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that he would go along with this solution. <br />Berry commented that this was something that should have been <br />done long ago. <br /> <br />Curiskis presented current renovation plans concerning <br />landscaping, backside of building (loading areas), trash <br />collection, and lighting for parking lot (0.9 foot candles <br />designed to match the lighting of the building to the north). <br />
