Rose of Lima request for a variance to parking <br />setback and curb requirements at 2048 Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Johnson stated that this application is incomplete. <br />drainage plan which still needs to be reviewed. <br /> <br />There is a <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to continue this matter until <br />April 4, 1990 to provide time for the staff to review the <br />drainage plan and discuss with applicant what pavement will be <br />removed. <br /> <br />DeBenedet commented that for some time the commission has fought <br />a battle for parking requirements. The Council should be asked <br />to advise the Commission if a change in policy has occurred based <br />on its action at Centennial Methodist Church. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Goedeke, stokes, Berry, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Jim Vinstead, a trustee from st. Rose of Lima was present. He <br />stated that he was sorry for the lack of communication and looks <br />forward to resolving this prior to the next meeting. <br /> <br />Planninq File 2056 <br /> <br />BRA Partners request for a special use permit for site plan <br />approval at 2335 Highway 36. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the location, history and proposed project. <br /> <br />Keel noted 3 items from the Engineering memo including utility <br />abandonments at the main, sidewalks, and a written agreement <br />about the portion of the outside eating area on city property. <br /> <br />Tom Anderson clarified the location of the indoor trash <br />receptacle. Anderson added that the same brick will be used for <br />the addition. Also, about 30 mature spruce trees have been stock <br />piled with the intention of using them to screen the parking lot <br />except near the entrances. Anderson explained that there will be <br />
