<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page1/: 11 <br /> <br />Wednesday, April 4, 1990 <br /> <br />Goedeke suggested that they use a type of tree that will stay <br />green all year long. <br /> <br />parrague stated that they are using deciduous trees but would not <br />inhibit the use of other tree types. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned if the minimum parking setback is 9 feet. <br />parrague replied that they have the minimum and it has been <br />reviewed by the engineers. <br /> <br />wietecki questioned what materials will be used to build the <br />retaining wall. parrague stated that it will be a concrete, <br />keystone wall. <br /> <br />Keel commented that the other side of Fairview has a wall <br />constructed of limestone. <br /> <br />wietecki suggested that maybe these two walls should match. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Goedeke moved and Roberts seconded to recommend approval of the <br />variance to parking setbacks with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That curb be located to provide a distance of 5 feet <br />from the back of the curb to the retaining wall. <br />2. That the retaining wall be a keystone type wall. <br />3. That right-of-way be dedicated as required. <br />4.
