<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />page:#13 <br /> <br />Wednesday, April 4, 1990 <br /> <br />Hansen stated they would only have a small sign to identify the <br />entrance at the rear of the building. <br /> <br />Keel stated that the gate will be put in following the <br />construction of the storm sewer project. <br /> <br />Rog questioned if there is a way to take down the fence on the <br />side of the building and landscape. <br /> <br />Rog questioned if ash trees are an appropriate tree to use in <br />this landscaping plan. <br /> <br />Dahlgren stated that ash trees are a good boulevard tree and <br />provides a continuity in this area. <br /> <br />Rog stated that it is Howard Dahlgren's last night at the <br />Planning commission meeting because he is retiring. <br /> <br />George Lindgren, an area resident, suggested moving the large <br />evergreens from Crossroads and using them here along Oakcrest <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Goedeke stated that the issue of the fence must be addressed. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Goedeke moved and Stokes seconded to recommend approval of <br />special use permit and variance of store size with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a sidewalk be constructed or money escrowed for a <br />sidewalk along the east side of the property. Final <br />design should be approved by Engineering staff. <br /> <br />2. That there be no exterior trash storage. <br /> <br />3. That storm sewer and catch basins be installed in the <br />future when lot is reconstructed. <br /> <br />4. That the fence along the west side should be <br />constructed to match the fence installed at Crossroads <br />Center to the south. <br /> <br />5. That a "No left turn" traffic sign be placed at the <br />exit to Oakcrest. <br />
