<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />page:# 3 <br /> <br />Wednesday, April 4, 1990 <br /> <br />Keel explained what dedications are needed for the property to <br />come into compliance. Keel added that the city of Roseville can <br />ask for the dedications but can't require the applicant to <br />dedicate property. <br /> <br />Wietecki commented that a variance for the dedication would be <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />Goedeke commented that a variance for the dedication would not be <br />appropriate because the parking area abuts the street. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and Goedeke seconded to approve the variance to <br />parking setback and curb requirements with the recommendation <br />that st. Rose of Lima work out the details with staff to bring <br />their parking lot up to code within the next five years. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, <br />Wietecki, Johnson <br /> <br />stokes, <br /> <br />Roberts, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br />Planning File 2046 <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Roseville Properties request for variance to pylon sign area at <br />1955 County Road B2. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Dahlgren summarized the site location, the proposed sign size, <br />and the setback. <br /> <br />Dahlgren commented that a shopping center of this size may have <br />up to 3 pylon signs, each sign being 35 feet high and a total of <br />200 square feet. Dahlgren added that the proposed sign will be <br />14 feet by 14 feet (196 sq. feet) and will be raised to a height <br />of 35 feet. <br /> <br />Daniel Commers was present to represent Roseville Properties. <br />Commers presented to the Planning Commission examples of the <br />proposed sign. <br /> <br />Berry questioned the color and texture of the proposed sign and <br />what type of materials will be used. Commers stated that the <br />colors used will be similar to those used on the building. <br /> <br />Johnson questioned if the sign will have internal lighting. <br />Commers replied that the sign will have internal lighting. <br />
