Keel added that the city of Roseville can <br />ask for the dedications but can't require the applicant to <br />dedicate property. <br /> <br />Wietecki commented that a variance for the dedication would be <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />Goedeke commented that a variance for the dedication would not be <br />appropriate because the parking area abuts the street. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and Goedeke seconded to approve the variance to <br />parking setback and curb requirements with the recommendation <br />that st. Dahlgren added that the proposed sign will be <br />14 feet by 14 feet (196 sq. feet) and will be raised to a height <br />of 35 feet. <br /> <br />Daniel Commers was present to represent Roseville Properties. <br />Commers presented to the Planning Commission examples of the <br />proposed sign. <br /> <br />Berry questioned the color and texture of the proposed sign and <br />what type of materials will be used. Commers stated that the <br />colors used will be similar to those used on the building. <br /> <br />Johnson questioned if the sign will have internal lighting. <br />Commers replied that the sign will have internal lighting. <br />
