ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

Paget 5

Wednesday, April 4, 1990

Johnson questioned the height of the trash enclosure.
replied that it would be 7 feet high.

Mikulak

stokes questioned if it would be possible to move the monitoring
well. Mikulak replied that its location was set based on
scientific findings. It could possibly be moved in the future
but the state must make the decision.

Goedeke stated that the monitoring well went in 13 months ago.

Goedeke questioned if there is still a need for this well at the
site. Mikulak stated that because it is the site of an old gas
station, it is required to have a monitoring well.

stokes commented that he would like to recommend that an attempt
be made to move this entrance. Mikulak stated that the
monitoring well needs to be there for a certain amount of months.

Goedeke questioned if the applicant is willing to move the
driveway once the monitoring well is no longer needed.

Berry suggested that the Planning commission require that the
driveway be moved at the time when the monitoring well is no
longer needed.

wietecki suggested that the driveway could be moved down part of
the way as a compromise.

Roberts questioned the drive through use of the building.
Mikulak stated that it will create better traffic flow.

Roberts questioned if the trash enclosure wall of 7 feet was an
adequate height. Dahlgren replied that the height of the wall is
adequate.

Berry asked for a clarification of the dedication. Jopke replied
that the dedication was part of the Planning commission's
recommendation to the Council but when it went to the Council,
they did not include it.

Berry questioned if the Planning Commission may include it at
this time. Jopke replied that the Planning Commission may
include the dedication at this time.

MOTION

Berry moved and Stokes seconded to recommend approval of a
variance to sideyard setback with the following conditions:
