Johnson added that the best thing we can do at the
present time is to formulate the best interim protection for the
residents. Johnson commented that there is probably a better use
for this land.

Schmittdiel commented that he just wants things done right.

Johnson questioned if the fence should be a minimum of 10 feet
high or higher to limit the view over the fence.

Busse commented that he would like to see no more redevelopment
in this area. Busse questioned if he should stop upkeep on his
home due to the uncertain future of this neighborhood. Busse
added that he is sick of tax increases.

Johnson stated that this is not a TIF district and the shopping
center has been paying taxes all along.

Roberts questioned if there are any homeowners that want a fence
lower than 10 feet.

Blaha questioned if the back of the ramp will be enclosed as a
solid wall Blaha stated that if the wall remains open, he is
concerned about the noise, lighting and pollution. Blaha
questioned how the ramp would be patrolled. Dunn stated that it
would be patrolled in an unpatterned way.

Sue Schmittdiel stated that she works in a hospital and parks in
a ramp. It is patrolled by 2 security guards periodically and
they haven't had a problem.

Anderson stated that he would like the bottom of the ramp
enclosed because of the noise and pollution problems.

Lindgren stated that even completely open ramps have security
problems. Lindgren added that he has made noise complaints but
nothing has ever been resolved.

Sullivan commented that the only solution for this land is to
turn it into a green space.

Alleva stated that he is representing Chief of Police Jim
Zelinsky. Alleva stated that the conclusion of leaving the
bottom of the ramp open was arrived at due to visibility for
