<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Page/l0 <br /> <br />Wednesday, May 2, 1990 <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, <br />Wietecki, DeBenedet, Johnson <br /> <br />Roberts, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2079 <br /> <br />KAYO oil Company request for approval of special Use Permit for <br />exterior display of merchandise at the Conoco station at 2815 <br />Rice street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Jopke summarized the site location and the dimensions of the <br />proposed outside displays. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned when they remodeled the building. <br />stated that it was October of 1989. <br /> <br />Jopke <br /> <br />Lutz stated that this store is open 18 hours a day and this <br />display is smaller than the one at the other store. The unit <br />will be two feet wide and six feet long and will not exceed the <br />height of the bottom of the windows. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned if there is proper handicapped access into <br />this building. Johnson stated that it is around the back of the <br />building. <br /> <br />DeBenedet <br />condition. <br />was added <br />consider. <br /> <br />questioned if handicapped access can be added as a <br />Keel stated that site conformance is not required but <br />by the engineering department for the applicant to <br /> <br />Lutz stated that she would be happy to try and acquire funds to <br />add a front curb cut for handicapped accessibility. <br /> <br />Johnson closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the <br />Special Use Permit for outside display of merchandise with the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Not to extend to a height higher than the bottom of the <br />windows. <br /> <br />2. Not to project over two feet out from the building. <br />
