<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Pagel 9 <br /> <br />Wednesday, May 2, 1990 <br /> <br />Stokes stated that the Council should look at what items the <br />applicants will be allowed to display. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Wietecki seconded for a reconsideration of <br />the previous motion in order to put limits on the type of <br />merchandise displayed. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, <br />wietecki, DeBenedet, Johnson <br /> <br />Roberts, <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Stokes suggested that if it is a concern to the council then it <br />should be addressed when reviewing this application. <br /> <br />DeBenedet suggested that the word etcetera should not be used. <br /> <br />Goedeke suggested that a condition should be added to limit the <br />type of merchandise to pop, oil, and miscellaneous automobile <br />items. <br /> <br />DeBenedet suggested that ice and newspapers be added to the list. <br /> <br />Goedeke moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the <br />special use permit for outside storage at 1583 County Road C with <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the height of the display not exceed the bottom of the <br />window. <br /> <br />2. That the display should not protrude more than 3 feet out <br />from the building. <br /> <br />3. That the amount of outside storage not exceed 60 square <br />feet. <br /> <br />4. That the type of merchandise displayed be limited to pop, <br />oil, automotive products, ice machine and newspaper <br />receptacle vending machines. <br /> <br />5. That there be no merchandise displays between the <br />handicapped ramp and the front entrance. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />The merchandise be displayed only <br />hours except for the ice machine <br />machines. <br /> <br />during normal business <br />and newspaper vending <br />
