Keel added <br />that sheet D shows how the storm sewers catch the water. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned the width of the private drive. <br /> <br />Keel stated that the width is 28 feet. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned the materials that will be used on the <br />building. <br /> <br />Gerald Richards was present to represent General Mills and <br />described the types of restaurants that General Mills owns. <br />Richards stated that the site is very odd shaped and creates a <br />hardship and is difficult to work with but also may create <br />opportuni ties. Richards stated that 7 percent landscaping is <br />planned as opposed to the city's requirement of 3 percent. <br />Richards added that they are willing to work with the city on any <br />additional landscaping ideas. <br /> <br />Johnson questioned the appearance of the sign and the exterior <br />building materials. Richards presented a photograph to the <br />Planning commission. Richards explained the exterior of the <br />building to the Planning Commission. Richards stated that the <br />exterior building materials would be stucco. <br /> <br />Stokes questioned if General Mills has purchased this property. <br />Richards said that they will purchase the property but have not <br />at this time. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned if the applicant is familiar with the city's <br />new design standards. Goedeke added that he would like to see <br />brick used instead of stucco. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that brick was used in all the surrounding <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Berry stated that we have only allowed stucco to be used on old <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Johnson clarified the design standards relating to building <br />materials. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that all buildings should be done all the way <br />around in the same materials. <br /> <br />DeBenedet stated that the parking issue needs to be addressed <br />more clearly. <br />
