Berry suggested that the Fire Marshall, Jon <br />Nisja should be questioned about the maximum size fire vehicle <br />that could be used on this ramp. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and DeBenedet seconded to approve the minutes as <br />corrected. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, <br />Wietecki, Johnson <br /> <br />Stokes, <br /> <br />Roberts, <br /> <br />Abstain: DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2057 <br /> <br />North Heights Hardware request for approval of a Special Use <br />Permit for exterior display of merchandise at 2611 Rice Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Jopke summarized the site location and the proposed project. <br />Jopke highlighted the ordinance concerning outside storage <br />including the seven criteria listed in the city code that should <br />be used when considering such applications: <br /> <br />1. The amount of outside sales area compared to the <br />amount of inside sales space; <br />2. Location of the outside sales area and the extent that <br />it encroaches on the required setbacks; <br />3. Impact on traffic and pedestrian circulation on the <br />site; <br />4. Impact on parking on the site; <br />5. Height of the merchandise displays; <br />6. The hours in which the merchandise is displayed; and <br />7. The type of merchandise to be displayed. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned the setback requirements for this area. <br /> <br />Jopke stated that this property is zoned business and the <br />setback requirements are: 30 feet front yard, 20 feet rear yard, <br />and 10 feet side yard. Jopke added these setbacks pertain to <br />the building on the property. <br />
