Forliti pointed out that the speed of the traffic on Minnesota Avenue is a problem and that there doesn't need to be any additional traffic on Rice Street because it is already congested. Johnson indicated that she can understand the concern but that all the City can do is try its best to make the best of a bad situation. Forliti because traffic traffic questioned how much increase in traffic can be expected of the project. Brachman responded that for apartments, is spread out over the day and would generate less than a commercial project. Johnson stated that it would be important for the applicant to bring the traffic information to the city council. Johnson also questioned if there would be any value to provide no left turn signs at the exit from the project site to Minnesota Avenue.
