Jopke stated that signage would be based on <br />wall space. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned whether concrete curbing would be used in the <br />parking lot. Richards stated that it would. <br /> <br />Hasek questioned Richards on the exterior of the building. <br />Richards stated that it would be brick wrapped around the whole <br />building. Richards clarified the awning color, he said it would <br />be white with a green accent. <br /> <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />DeBenedet commented that the intent of the landscaping ordinance <br />was to break up the parking lot. He stated that this landscaping <br />plan works. <br /> <br />Berry commented that the she was pleased with the result, and <br />thought the site looked wonderful. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to recommend approval of the <br />special use permit for site plan approval with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1) That the handicapped parking stalls be moved to the <br />northwesterly parking area adjacent to the entrance. <br />2) That the parapet wall screen the view of rooftop mechanical <br />units from street level. <br />3) That the proj ect be developed as shown on the submitted <br />plans dated June 22, 1990. <br />4) That the staff approve final landscaping, grading, utility <br />and drainage plans. <br />5) That the design of the signage be presented to the City <br />Council at the July 23, 1990 meeting. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, DeBenedet, Roberts, Stokes <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Johnson and Wietecki joined the meeting at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Planninq File 2114 <br /> <br />Lap's Liquors request for a special use permit for a liquor store <br />at 2717 Lexington Avenue. <br />
