ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION

Page 3

Wednesday, August 1, 1990

Goedeke questioned whether the dumpster would be inside the
building. Bail stated that it would not.

DeBenedet questioned whether both ice machines would be part of
the approval of the storage plan. Bail stated that it would.

DeBenedet questioned where the "No Parking" signs would be
located. Bail stated that they are bolted on the outer corner of
the building. They won't move them unless they obstruct the
handicap ramp. DeBenedet questioned whether they would encroach
the setback requirements. Bail stated that they would not.

Berry questioned how they enforce the no parking in front of the
store. Bail stated that it was difficult, they mark the no
parking zone with yellow paint and tell the customers not to park
there. Berry stated that she is glad they tell them not to park
there. Johnson questioned whether the extended sidewalk would
take away room to park in from of the building. Bail stated that
he wished that was true but unfortunately it wouldn't.

The Public Hearing was closed.

DeBenedet commented that since Super America did not provide them
with a site plan before the meeting he would like to continue the
matter but that it is a good plan and should be approved.

MOTION

DeBenedet moved and Berry seconded to recommend the outdoor
storage plan based on the following conditions. 1) That outside
merchandise and display be conducted according to the plan
submi tted wi th the addition of a second ice chest on the NE
corner of the building; 2) The height of the displays be no more
than five feet; 3) Merchandise be displayed only during normal
business hours.

DeBenedet stated that even though he knew the store is open 24
hours, he added the condition that merchandise only be stored
outside during normal business hours because the hours could
change.

Roll Call:

Ayes:

Berry, DeBenedet, Goedeke, Johnson,
Roberts, Stokes, Wietecki

Nays:

None
