Nelson demonstrated on <br />drawings, stating they would be by the door and wi thin the <br />parking lot. <br /> <br />Wietecki questioned whether the large trailer would stay. Linton <br />responded that he wants to get rid of it. <br /> <br />Wietecki questioned the siding. Linton stated that it would be <br />white vertically ribbed aluminum. <br /> <br />Roberts questioned the number of vehicles on the site. Linton <br />stated that they had room for 19. Roberts questioned about the <br />driveways. Nelson stated that they would be two-way driveways. <br /> <br />Goedeke asked where the roof water runoff would go. Nelson <br />stated in the existing catch basin. Goedeke commented that he <br />was concerned about the runoff. <br /> <br />Johnson commented that this sounds like a pole barn. <br /> <br />Berry questioned whether the materials conform to zoning and <br />whether there is soil contamination. Linton stated that <br />drillings are to be made. Shardlow stated that the material is <br />permanently finished and an upgrade on the existing conditions. <br />stokes stated that any improvement is welcome. Linton stated <br />that he is interested in an attractive site. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned the height of the building. Nelson stated 22 <br />feet at its highest point. <br /> <br />wietecki questioned the number of cars parked overnight. Linton <br />stated hopefully none. wietecki stated that the upkeep of the <br />site has been terrible over the past four years. Linton replied <br />that the larger building will help with upkeep. <br /> <br />Art Hubbard, a neighbor, asked how long the siding will last. <br />Nelson stated that it should last a good twenty years. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that she was uncomfortable with this proposal but <br />wants to work to improve the site. Shardlow stated that they <br />could continue this so that the applicant can work with staff. <br />Shardlow stated that since the city is looking at design <br />standards anyway, there should be no problem. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Berry moved and wietecki seconded to recommend continuation of <br />this proposal until October 3, 1990 in order to explore <br />
