He requested that the conditions reflect this. <br /> <br />Stokes questioned about metal versus vinyl. Gilbert stated that <br />vinyl has improved over the years so that it much better that <br />metal. <br /> <br />Berry moved and Roberts seconded to amend the motion, changing <br />the condition for the approved exterior to be vinyl covered metal <br />with metal soffit. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Berry, Goedeke, Johnson, Roberts, <br />Stokes, wietecki <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planninq File 2151 <br /> <br />Thomas Theisen/Welsh Co. request for a special use permit for an <br />amusement room at the Welsh Crossroads Shopping Center at 1655 <br />County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow presented the site and project. He stated that the <br />property was zoned Shopping Center and that amusement rooms were <br />permitted as a special use. <br /> <br />Shardlow stated that the space consisted of 1,406 square feet <br />with 25 amusement devices. The hours of operation will be Sunday <br />through Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 midnight, Friday and Saturday <br />10:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Theisen stated that they were opening a chain of Arcades and have <br />lots of experience in the video amusement industry. He stated <br />that there would be adult supervision, no pool tables, and that <br />the space would be close to theater and health club. <br /> <br />Wietecki questioned what the theater hours are. Theisen stated <br />that the last movie is around 9:00 p.m. so it would let out <br />between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m., the health center closes at <br />midnight every night, he stated that their proposed hours are <br />consistent with the shopping center. <br /> <br />Goedeke stated that there is a curfew in Roseville and is not in <br />favor of the hours of operation. <br />
