Jopke stated that the proposal is <br />for a 14 foot fence so that site lines are not required. <br /> <br />wietecki pointed out that as a housekeeping item, they would need <br />to take the brick loading dock screen wall out of the proposal. <br />Shardlow stated that as part of this proposal, the City would <br />need to amend the special use permit for site plan approval to <br />take the screen wall out and to provide the new 14 foot wall. <br /> <br />DeBenedet questioned how close the proposed fence would come to <br />Fairview Avenue. Shardlow responded that it is a structure which <br />would be required to have a 30 foot setback. <br /> <br />Dan Ross stated that the current cyclone fence projects ten feet <br />beyond the edge of the building, but because of visibility <br />concerns, that their position is to extend the new fence no <br />further out than the existing building. <br /> <br />Mike Pederson stated that he was representing the neighbors and <br />that the proposal is acceptable to them. Pederson stated that he <br />was confident that any remaining issues will be worked out. <br /> <br />DeBenedet expressed his concern about the wall going out past the <br />building and asked what the position of the adjacent neighbor <br />was. <br /> <br />Pederson stated that he was confident that the location will be <br />worked out. <br /> <br />stokes questioned what the proposed fence would look like. <br /> <br />John Mann from viking Fence stated that .they would be using the <br />state specs which call for treated lumber, including 2X8 <br />horizontal, 8X8 posts placed 8 feet on center, which will not be <br />painted or stained. <br /> <br />Goedeke questioned whether the fence would look like the Welsh <br />fence. Mann replied that it would look similar. <br /> <br />DeBenedet closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />stokes stated that it was nice to see Tanurb and the neighbors <br />getting together. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Wietecki moved and Roberts seconded to recommend approval of Ross <br />Company, Inc.' s request for an amendment to special use permit <br />for site plan approval at 2480 Fairview Avenue North to include <br />
