Shardlow pointed out that the issues <br />concerning the application related to parking and to security. <br /> <br />Wietecki asked if parking were a problem, would there be an <br />opportunity to address it. Shardlow stated that because of the <br />timing of the dances that there would be opportunity for shared <br />parking and there was other options at surrounding properties. <br /> <br />Goedeke asked if surrounding businesses had been contacted. <br />Shardlow indicated that they had. <br /> <br />Goedeke stated that the proposed age group would pose a problem <br />with the City's curfew ordinance. <br /> <br />Mike Platt, from Discus of Roseville, Inc. summarized the <br />proposal. Platt testified that the proposal is good for the <br />business but also is good for the community as it provides a need <br />for teenage recreation. Platt indicated that they were aware of <br />the responsibility and that security is a very important issue <br />for them and Platt pointed out that there hasn't been a parking <br />problem and that he was not aware of the potential curfew problem <br />but it may not apply because kids are part of a planned activity. <br /> <br />wietecki <br />applies. <br /> <br />asked if they would operate within curfew if <br />Platt stated that they would. <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />Harms questioned how they control admission to not exceed the <br />capacity of the restaurant and how they control the ages of kids <br />coming in. <br />
