Some of the issues <br />associated with these particular uses include the location of the <br />use in the district, the overall size and number of cars on the <br />site, provisions for parking, screening, and maintenance of <br />vehicles on the site. <br /> <br />Stokes commented that he had seen cars for sale on some of the <br />sites and questioned if this was permitted. Shardlow responded <br />that a conditional use permit was needed and stated that staff <br />would check records to see if any of these sites had obtained a <br />permit. <br /> <br />Shardlow stated that there was one common problem on most sites in <br />that vacuum cleaners were left in front of the buildings and <br />maintenance of vehicles was being done in front. <br /> <br />Harms inquired if the owners could be required to keep the vacuums <br />and the cars away from the front of the buildings.
