<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMKISSION <br />June 12, 1991 <br /> <br />Paget <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Thomas <br /> <br />DISSENTING OPINION <br /> <br />Thomas stated that the issue should be moved along with the <br />condition that the lots meet minimum size standards. <br /> <br />Plannina File 2314 <br /> <br />Paul Hicks/First Church of the Nazarene request for vacation of a <br />portion of lone street right-of-way adjacent to 1746 N. Hamline <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The issues discussed concerning this matter included the design of <br />the house, the need for additional space to provide proper access <br />to the garage, the unimproved nature of lone street, and the need <br />to minimize special assessments to the church for the Hamline <br />Avenue improvement project. <br /> <br />No residents spoke concerning this matter. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Roberts moved and Goedeke seconded to recommend approval of the <br />vacation of the north 15 feet of Tone street adjacent to 1746 N. <br />Hamline Avenue with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the new driveway opening and driveway be built to City <br />standards including a five foot setback to the relocated lone <br />street right-of-way. <br /> <br />2. That the new driveway be designed to include a backup space <br />allowing cars to maneuver properly to head out to Hamline <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Thomas, Goedeke, Roberts, <br />Wietecki, DeBenedet <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />P1annina File 2229 <br /> <br />Concordia Academy/Rottlund Co.
