<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 10, 1991 <br /> <br />Paget <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />trailers, and the need for proper enforcement of the City's <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />ACTION <br /> <br />City staff will research this matter further and bring a specific <br />ordinance to the Planning commission for action at the August <br />Planning commission meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion concerninq ordinance amendments to define what is a <br />substantial chanqe between approved plans and actual development. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Shardlow highlighted the previous discussion and the proposed <br />addition to the ordinance. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Discussion occurred concerning two specific examples on the <br />Concordia site (the change of sidewalk location from one side of <br />the street to another and the addition of a hard surface access <br />drive for the vietnamese Temple. Staff agreed to inform the <br />Commission when interpretations are made. <br /> <br />ACTION <br /> <br />staff will prepare specific ordinance language for Planning <br />Commission action at the August 14, 1991 meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion concerninq the expansion of non-conforming structures. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Jopke discussed current ordinance requirements relating to the <br />expansion of non-conforming structures and asked for direction from <br />the Commission if ordinance changes should be explored to clarify <br />ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Discussion occurred concerning different interpretations of the <br />ordinance, the need to separate regulations relating to uses from <br />regulations relating to structures, concern that the current <br />ordinance might prohibit necessary structural repairs, and the need <br />to insure that the City standards continue to meet the City's goals <br />and objectives. <br /> <br />ACTION <br /> <br />The Commission directed staff to further research this matter and <br />report its findings back at a future Planning Commission meeting. <br />
