County Road B-2. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: Rengel, Roberts, Harms, Wall, Wietecki <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Thomas <br /> <br />Thomas indicated her dissenting vote was based on that fact that she would prefer that <br />the applicant seek an interim use permit rather than a special use permit. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting recessed at 9: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting reconvened at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Planning Files 2615 <br /> <br />Ac'cent Companies request for a special use permit for the leasing of semi-tractor <br />trailers at 2507 Walnut Street. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />FaIk highlighted the application. <br /> <br />Jim Trucker, Ac'cent Companies, discussed the galvanized roofing materials to be used <br />and the proposed curbing on the site. He added that the facility is used for truck leasing <br />and there may be as many as 200 vehicles on site during peak times but most vehicles <br />are gone for a week at a time. There are security cameras on the site and the facility <br />is open 24 hours. <br /> <br />Jerry Tusche, Architect for Ac'cent Companies, explained that a variety of plant <br />materials, that will survive the extreme weather changes, will be used for screening. <br />Issues discussed included the amount of parking on the site, future zoning for the area, <br />drainage issues on the site (ponding or storm sewers), the number of trucks and trailers <br />on the site, traffic generation, screening, perimete~ fencing, the desire for some other <br />form of fencing other than cyclone and barbed wire, and the need for additional traffic <br />
