Other issues included what other truck terminals exist in the area, <br />the amount of green space, types of plant materials used for screening, materials used <br />on the building, environmental concerns, and design standards for roofing materials. <br />The Commission questioned if hazardous materials will be stored in vehicles while on <br />the site and how spills will be contained. Additional issues discussed included signage <br />on the site, and the possibility of the parking area being resurfaced sooner than 5 years. <br /> <br />No citizens appeared. <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Roberts moved and Harms seconded a motion to recommend approval Ac'cent <br />Companies request for a special use permit for the leasing of semi-tractor trailers at <br />2507 Walnut Street with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That fmal plans be approved by staff regarding lighting, landscaping, drainage <br />and design standards compliance. <br /> <br />2. FaIk discussed the issues before the Planning Commission and the <br />choices for recommendation. <br />
