ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION
October 13, 1993

Page# 6

Member Roberts asked for clarification regarding the liquor storage and delivery
on the site and whether there would be traffic and truck parking problems at the
site. Ted Brausen, representing Brausen Enterprises, described the mail order
business in which the mail or phone order would be received and the product
would be couriered out by Quicksilver or Speedy Delivery Service. The product
cannot be sent out by mail. Brausen noted that there would be 15 cases
delivered every 3-4 months and that 3-4 customers were serviced each day.
Member Rengel asked if there would be sales at the door. Brausen indicated
that there would be no sales or very few at the door. Member Thomas asked if
Amoco advertising would be used for this purpose. Brausen stated that there
would be no advertising.

City Council Member Goedeke asked if there would be coolers required.
Brausen indicated that there were no coolers but the bottles would simply be
stored in the office area.

No Citizens Appeared

Acting Chairman Roberts closed the public hearing.

MOTION: Thomas moved and Wall seconded a motion to recommend
approval of Theodore Brausen's request for a special use permit to establish an
off-sale liquor establishment at 2180 N. Dale Street with the following condition:

a. That the business remain a mail order operation with no over-the-counter
retail sales.

b. That there be no signage identifying the business on the building.

c.
