<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />October 13, 1993 <br /> <br />Page# 6 <br /> <br />Member Roberts asked for clarification regarding the liquor storage and delivery <br />on the site and whether there would be traffic and truck parking problems at the <br />site. Ted Brausen, representing Brausen Enterprises, described the mail order <br />business in which the mail or phone order would be received and the product <br />would be couriered out by Quicksilver or Speedy Delivery Service. The product <br />cannot be sent out by mail. Brausen noted that there would be 15 cases <br />delivered every 3-4 months and that 3-4 customers were serviced each day. <br />Member Rengel asked if there would be sales at the door. Brausen indicated <br />that there would be no sales or very few at the door. Member Thomas asked if <br />Amoco advertising would be used for this purpose. Brausen stated that there <br />would be no advertising. <br /> <br />City Council Member Goedeke asked if there would be coolers required. <br />Brausen indicated that there were no coolers but the bottles would simply be <br />stored in the office area. <br /> <br />No Citizens Appeared <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Roberts closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Thomas moved and Wall seconded a motion to recommend <br />approval of Theodore Brausen's request for a special use permit to establish an <br />off-sale liquor establishment at 2180 N. Dale Street with the following condition: <br /> <br />a. That the business remain a mail order operation with no over-the-counter <br />retail sales. <br /> <br />b. That there be no signage identifying the business on the building. <br /> <br />c.
