<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />October 13, 1993 <br /> <br />Page# 9 <br /> <br />Architect, Carl Schwab, described the site, landscape plan, and screening for the <br />building. <br /> <br />No citizens appeared. <br /> <br />Chairman Roberts closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council Member Goedeke noted that deliveries for Rainbow and other stores in <br />the Crossroads Center are restricted to certain times. He expressed concerns <br />that deliveries not occur at peak hours, especially when the Rainbow store is <br />active. <br /> <br />Bob Pounds, representing Welsh Company, stated that delivery is prohibited <br />from 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. for noise purposes only. <br /> <br />Council Member Goedeke asked for clarification regarding ponding <br />requirements, which are off site, and for clarification regarding heating and air <br />conditioning units which would be placed on the roof of the building. City <br />Engineer, Lon Aune, explained that the site and piping had previously been sized <br />to move stonn water to other holding ponds off the site. Gary Gandrud <br />explained that the air conditioning units on the roof will be fully screened. <br /> <br />MOTION: Thomas moved and Harms seconded a motion to recommend <br />approval of Computer CityIBeechwood Acquisitions Inc. 's request for a special <br />use permit and variance at the Crossroads Shopping Center, County Road B2 <br />and Snelling Avenue with the following conditions as indicated in the staff report <br />of October 13, 1993: <br /> <br />1. That the required roadway easement for County Road B-2 be dedicated <br />as determined by County and City staff. <br /> <br />2. That a sidewalk be constructed along County Road B-2 and a pathway <br />easement be dedicated for it. <br /> <br />3. That the landscape and utility plans be approved by City staff. <br /> <br />Member Sandstrom stated that the Planning Commission should make a finding <br />
