<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />Thursday, December 9, 1993 <br /> <br />No Citizens Appeared. <br /> <br />Chairperson Wietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked for clarification regarding the City's requirements for <br />sidewalks along County Road C. Rick Jopke explained the ordinance <br />requirement for sidewalks in all non-residential areas. <br /> <br />MOTION: Thomas moved, second by member Rengel to recommend approval <br />of the rezoning from 12 to Concept Stage Approval of a planned unit <br />development for CSM Corporation and preliminary plat and final plat approval <br />with the condition that front screening be of some type of evergreen materials. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, Wietecki <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />7. Other Actions: None. <br /> <br />8. Information Reports and Other Business <br /> <br />(a) School District Property Sketch Plan (review) <br /> <br />John Thein of the Roseville School District and John Shardlow, Consultant for <br />the School District, explained the proposed School District development of 93 <br />acres located along Owasso Boulevard. Comments from the Planning <br />Commission included concerns over the protection of the wetlands and park <br />spaces by the development, and a need to meet NURP pond requirements. The <br />Commission also expressed concern over the park being defined as a park <br />accessible only to the development, and wondered why more access wasn't <br />available to the remaining neighborhoods. The Commission also expressed <br />concern regarding traffic counts. <br />
