<br />Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />April 13, 1994 <br /> <br />4/13/94, and approval of the Planned Unit Development concept as per the <br />design drawings submitted for the 4/13/94 meeting with more detail on the <br />southeast access, and sidewalks along the east side of Lincoln Drive to be <br />address by the staff. <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked for a clarification regarding the curb cut on Snelling <br />Avenue at the Conoco Station, and whether this would allow traffic to have <br />the same turning problems as at County Road B and Snelling Avenue. <br />Michael Falk responded that the Consultant recommended closing the <br />southeast access and re-orienting traffic to Lincoln Drive. <br />Member Wall asked about the details of the outlots, and whether outlot B <br />could become a portion of lot 3 or 4, and whether additional easements for <br />ponding and drainage should be provided to all lots. Member Wall also <br />asked for details regarding a pedestrian access or crossing.from the proposed <br />project to the Byerly's site. He asked how much foot traffic could be <br />expected between the sites. <br /> <br />Member Harms asked for further details regarding the entrance and exits on <br />Snelling Avenue. She also asked for clarification regarding the signs, <br />especially the comparison between monument signs and pylon signs. <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked if the signs on the site had been clearly identified and <br />measured by the staff. Michael Falk responded that they will be reviewed in <br />the final Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />Member Thomas asked if the landscaping meets the city code. Michael Falk <br />responded, it did. Member Thomas also asked if the trash bins were now part <br />of all existing buildings. Michael Falk responded that all trash collection are <br />now enclosed or attached to the buildings. Each trash enclosure will have a <br />roof over it. <br /> <br />Jerry Slawik introduced his development team of Gary Vogel, David Green, <br />and Brian Slawik. Gary Vogel, Architect, representing Slawik Development <br />presented the concept for the 4 buildings and the shared parking noting that <br /> <br />12 <br />
