<br />Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />April 13, 1994 <br /> <br />Member Thomas expressed concern that the entire area should be reviewed. <br />She stated that the Legion property should eventually be used for single- <br />family development, the Kehr project for medium density Planned Unit <br />Developments, and the area east ofKehr developed as one project. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Harms moved, seconded by Member Rengel, to <br />recommend to the City Council denial of a change to the <br />Comprehensive Plan on all the property including Legion and <br />western properties, Kehr, Borgstrom, Booth, Britz and Salverda <br />from low density residential to medium density residential based <br />on the findings at the public hearing that the existing <br />Comprehensive Plan designation is appropriate for the area. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes: <br /> <br />Rengel, Harms, Sandstrom, Roberts <br /> <br />Nays: Wall, Thomas <br /> <br />Rick Jopke noted that the project will be sent to the City Council for <br />consideration at the Apri125, 1994, me.eting. <br /> <br />Correction: On May 11, 1994, the Planning Commission reconsidered and <br />corrected the above motion as follows: <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Rengel moved, seconded by Member Sandstrom, to <br />reconsider the motion stated on page 8 and the page 9 regarding denial of <br />changes to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Roll call: Ayes: <br /> <br />Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall Wietecki, <br />Roberts <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Harms <br /> <br />Member Harms stated that any motion and recommendation by the Planning <br />Commission regarding this issue would be forwarded to the City Council for <br /> <br />9 <br />
