Chairman Wietecki <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Roberts, seconded by Member Thomas, to recommend <br />approval of a vacation of a portion of an existing easement at 2249 Ferris <br />Lane as per the staff recommendation. <br /> <br />Roll call: Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Roberts, Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, <br />Wietecki. <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Sketch Plan for Pineview Overlook, Inc. - Zeece Property. <br /> <br />City Planner Michael Falk provided a verbal report in which he explained that <br />Pineview Overlook and Dave Weber are proposing a 5.88 acre, 38-unit town <br />home project that would create a net density of 6.456 units per acre. Each <br />town house building will have two units, will be single story, and will be in <br />the $100,000-$135,000 price bracket. Dick Krier, Planning Consultant <br />representing Pineview Overlook, explained the project details. David Weber, <br />V ice-President of Pineview Overlook, explained the past record of Pineview <br />Overlook and asked for comment from the Planning Commission. He noted <br />that a public meeting with the neighbors will be held on May 23rd. Member <br />Thomas asked for clarification regarding all the current land uses in the area. <br />Member Rengel asked for clarification regarding the site amendments that <br />will be included on the site, including the common grounds and the sense of <br />place. Mr. Weber explained that a landscape plan will be completed and <br />provided to clarify those issues. Chairman Wietecki asked for clarification <br />regarding setbacks and fire access to the site. <br /> <br />Dick Krier stated that the entire site will have private roads with access via <br />the current public street, Albemarle, which is proposed to be vacated for use <br /> <br />15 <br />
