Mr. Welsch responded that any for-profit enterprise would be <br />included in this definition. Member Thomas asked how the staff or the public <br />would know when a disturbance had occurred at these individual sites. <br /> <br />The Commission asked that the license not be considered transferrable and <br />expire upon conveyance of the property. The Commission also asked for a <br />statement in which the applicant is put on notice if s/he has a criminal history, <br />and the application would be automatically disqualified. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked for comment from the public. There was none. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wall moved, seconded by Member Thomas, to <br />recommend approval of the proposed ordinance defining amusement devices, <br />areas, and game rooms, activities and regulations, and adding special use <br />permit requirements with the further recommendation that the City Council <br />add to the facilities' list all gambling and gaming facilities as defined in the <br />City Code. <br /> <br />Roll call: Ayes: <br /> <br />Harms, Roberts, Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, <br />Wietecki. <br /> <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />h) <br /> <br />Planning File 2656. <br /> <br />Amendments to the Shoreland Ordinance.
