1) A variance to allow for 44 percent of the site to be covered with building rather than the code requirement of 30 percent. 2) A variance to the parking lot setback requirements of 40 feet; thereby, allowing the existing parking to remain 10 feet rrom the right-of-way. 3) A variance to the building design standards to allow for color-compatible, painted materials, brick pilasters, and architectural details along the north existing warehouse wall to be used, in lieu of all new brick or other complimentary materials. These variances are subject to the five staff engineering conditions, dated 9-9-94, and subject to the staff working with Pacific Mutual Door and the neighbors regarding the truck headlights, truck safety, review of the landscape planting plan to provide coniferous vegetation within the landscape plan. Pacific Mutual Door must also work with the neighbors to reduce the noise and buzzers to be consistent with the City's Noise Code. Adopted this, the 14th day of September, 1994. (e) Planning File 2705 Metro Paper Recovery, Inc. request for an interim use permit for outside storage at 2785 North Fairview Avenue. Chairman Kieth Wietecki opened the public hearing and requested a background report rrom City Planner Michael Falk. Michael Falk noted that Metro Paper Recovery and the City ofRoseville have completed an acquisition agreement in which the city would acquire 2 acres oflow land adjacent to the west side of the Metro Paper Recovery building. Metro Paper Recovery requires the use of exterior storage and mixing bunkers for recyclable materials.
