(yes). <br />A church is a permitted use in an R-1 zone, there to serve the residents ofRoseville. <br /> <br />Chairperson Wietecki asked for comment rrom the public. <br /> <br />Marlene Strue, 1214 Roselawn, said she has no problem with the variance but is <br />concerned about too dense landscaping. Strue recommended less dense trees, parking lot <br />lighting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Wietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Member Wall stated that the information received has helped explain the need for the <br />variance. The church doesn't need the variance for a concert hall. The drawings and <br />letters from the experts and neighbors helped explain the needs and designs. The data <br />now supports the need for a variance. There is justification for the variance. <br /> <br />Member Rengel stated that the church, shown in an R-1 zone, is capable of being <br />compatible. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Thomas, to recommend <br />approval ofRoseville Lutheran Church request for a 10 foot height variance for the <br />construction of an addition at 1215 Roselawn Avenue with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the landscape plan be subject to staff review. <br />2. OTHER ACTIONS: <br /> <br />a) Dave Woessner (Milton Court) Sketch Plan <br /> <br />City Planner Mike Falk described the sketch plan by Dave Woessner to subdivide a 103' x <br />516' parcel into 3 residential lots, two of which front on the Milton Court cul-de-sac. One <br />lot would be a flag lot. Each lot has enough area. However, lot 1 is only 73 feet inw idth. <br />Lot 2 is a flag lot with a 30 foot access to the street. <br /> <br />3 <br />
