<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8,1995 <br /> <br />Polly Franke, representing Mr. Simpson, stated that there would be no trailers on the site <br />and that the specific spaces were part ofthe lease agreement with the building owner and <br />at a location that is acceptable to the building owner. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki closed the public hearing. There were no public comments or <br />questions. <br /> <br />Motion: Chairman Wietecki moved and Member Wall seconded to recommend <br />approval of Simpson Leasing request for a special use permit at 2845 Hamline Avenue <br />North with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That there be no more than 5 vehicles for lease at the site. <br />2. That there be no maintenance or cleaning of the vehicles on the site. <br />3. That there be no storage of trailers or dollys at the site. <br />4. That the 5 spaces for the lease vehicles be located as shown in the proposal <br />presented to the Planning Commission. <br />5. That there be no fencing. <br />6. That there be no signage. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Harms, Rengel, Sandstrom, Wall, Wietecki <br />None <br /> <br />Polly Franke thanked the Planning Commission for the dedication and hard work that <br />they do for the community. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked that the City Manager have staff review the City's standards for <br />automobile leasing and rental agencies in light of the numerous requests that have been <br />coming forward in the last few months. The City should determine if the standards are <br />still adequate. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Other Actions: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />John Allen request for sketch plan review for a proposed office/warehouse <br />project in the southwest quadrant of County Road C-2 and Highway 88. <br /> <br />Mike Falk highlighted the proposed site, its current zoning designation of R-l Single <br />Family and its current Comprehensive Plan designation as medium density residential. <br />Mr. Falk pointed out that the Planning Commission previously reviewed this matter in <br />January and that Mr. Allen had made changes to address some of the Planning <br /> <br />14 <br />
