<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />November 8, 1995 <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Discussion of church land use criteria in residential districts. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Harms moved, seconded by Member Wietecki to recommend the <br />establishment of a subcommittee to study the church land use criteria within residential <br />districts. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, Thein, Harms, Cunningham, Rhody , Wall <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Member Wall asked that the subcommittee include representatives from churches and <br />that the Planning Commission wait until January of 1996 to request approval by the <br />Council. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Recommendation on Liveable Communities Act and Housini: Goals <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Harms to recommend <br />pages 1-4 of the staff report and the housing elements of the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />for inclusion in the Liveable Communities Act Housing Goals with caution regarding <br />condition number 4 which stated that the City should attempt to encourage families with <br />children in the new housing areas. The concern was with discrimination. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Wietecki, Thein, Harms, Cunningham, Rhody, Wall <br /> <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Proposed amendment of the Roseville City Code rei:ardini: establishment of <br />standards concernine deliveries. snow removal. and trash collection in <br />commercial and industrial areas adjacent to residential areas. <br /> <br />Member Rhody stated he was concerned about snow plowing and noted it would be very <br />hard to regulate snow plowing while it might be possible to regulate rubbish pickup and <br />deliveries. <br /> <br />Member Wall stated he was not comfortable with a recommendation without a <br />subcommittee. <br /> <br />Member Wietecki stated he was uncomfortable with any recommendation. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wall moved, seconded by Member Thein to recommend that no <br />formal recommendation be provided to the Council but that the following comments be <br />submitted: <br /> <br />8 <br />
