<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />February 14, 1996 <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 26th day of February, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SUPER AMERICA TO <br />CONSTRUCT A STATION/STORE WITH A CAR WASH AT 2295 RICE STREET. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 462.357, the City of Roseville has adopted <br />zoning regulations to control land uses throughout the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said regulations provided that a motor fuel station may be allowed within <br />the confines of a B-2 retail zoning district as a conditional use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of a conditional use permit for a motor fuel station has been <br />requested by SuperAmerica; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing and recommended <br />approval of such conditional use permit subject to certain conditions on February 26, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council considered such conditional use permit at a <br />public hearing held on February 26, 1996. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit for a motor fuel station <br />within a B-2 zoning district be approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The applicant shall provide for the appropriate easement necessary to provide for the <br />expansion of Rice Street. <br />2. The applicant shall provide monument signage along Rice Street with appropriate <br />setbacks or variances granted per the site plan presented to the City Council. <br /> <br />5 <br />
