<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />AprillO,1996 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 462.357, the City ofRoseville has adopted <br />zoning regulations to control land uses throughout the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said regulations provide that a one operator beauty salon may be allowed <br />within the confines of a R -1 Single Family Zoning District as a conditional use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of a conditional use permit for a one operator beauty salon has <br />been requested by Stacey Jean Pittroff of 1655 Stanbridge Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of such <br />conditional use permit subject to certain conditions on April 10, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council considered such conditional use permit at a <br />public hearing held on April 22, 1996. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City <br />of Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit <br />for a one operator beauty salon within a R-1 zoning district be approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. The hours of operation shall be 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. <br />2. Stipulating that there shall be no more than two client cars at a time and that those <br />cars must be parked off street. <br />3. That the conditional use permit is issued to the applicant only and shall <br />automatically expire upon the sale ofthe property. <br />4. That there shall be no product sales on the site except sale of products to <br />individuals at the time the service is rendered if appropriate. <br />5. That there shall be no other employees providing service and that the business <br />shall not occupy more than one room of the house. <br />6. That the structure must meet life safety exiting criteria of the City Codes. <br />7. That the non-lighted sign be no more than 3 square feet. <br />8. That non-compliance by the applicant with any of the conditions, can be grounds <br />for immediate revocation of the conditional use permit. <br />9. Licensure by the State must be present at all times. <br />10. The layout of the rooms for operation of the cosmetology business shall be filed <br />with the staff prior to the Council meeting. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br /> <br />4 <br />
