<br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />June 12, 1996 <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Cunningham, Rhody, Wilke, Thein, Sandstrom, Wietecki <br />None <br /> <br />6(e) Planninl: File 2832: Daniel Weyandt request for division of platted lot at 982 <br />West County Road B. <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wieteckiopened the public hearing and requested Michael Falk to <br />provide a background report as per the staff report dated June 12, 1996. Mr. Falk <br />reported that the proposed subdivision meets all city standards, has assessments on the <br />site, and has all utilities in and with capacity to serve the site. The staff recommended <br />approval of the subdivision. <br /> <br />Chairman Wietecki asked for comments from the public. There were none. Chairman <br />Wietecki closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Thein moved, seconded by Member Rhody, to recommend <br />approval of the lot division for Daniel Weyandt at 982 West County Road B subject to <br />the back assessments being paid of$1,546.74 for sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm <br />sewer and that any concrete curb and gutter that is removed along Burke Avenue would <br />have to be replaced as per Roseville standards. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nayes: <br /> <br />Cunningham, Rhody, Wilke, Thein, Sandstrom, Wietecki <br />None <br /> <br />6(t) Planninl: File 2833: David Westlund request for relocation of a dwelling from <br />Parker and Lexington Avenue to 2961 Fairview Avenue North. <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki opened the public hearing and requested Michael Falk to <br />provide a background report as per his written staff report of June 12, 1996. A video was <br />shown of the site and the house. Mr. Falk noted that the building must meet the city's <br />building codes and that a 22 x 24 ft. garage will be added to the site. The lot is an 85 ft. <br />lot and is 17,000 square feet in size. The lot has assessments for $977 for storm water <br />improvements. A water main is available but it is on the east side of Fairview and must <br />be connected to the west side of Fairview for use at this site. The house will need a <br />driveway with a turn-around because it is on a County Road. Mr. Falk recommended <br />approval with conditions. <br /> <br />Member Thein asked whether the neighbors had been contacted. David Westlund stated <br />that the neighbors had been contacted and only 1 of 4 was undecided. All others were in <br />support. An adjacent neighbor stated that she had a rambler and was concerned about a <br /> <br />6 <br />
