The City has worked with Ron Batty of <br />Kennedy and Graven to clarify the language. Rick Jopke reviewed the land use <br />consistency role of the Planning Commission and also described 14 active <br />districts and the development district #1 as consistent with the Comprehensive <br />Plan. He noted the staff recommended that modifications are consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wilke asked if the City obtains legal opinions regarding TIF <br />proposals conforming to state statutes before the proposals are submitted to the <br />City Council for public hearings? (Yes). <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Wilke to recommend <br />approval of Planning Commission Resolution 12/11/96a stating that the <br />proposed modifications to TIF District 1-14 and 16, and Development District #1 <br />are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />4 <br />
