<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Member Wietecki introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution approving the proposed modifications to the existing tax increment financing plans for <br />Tax Increment Districts 1 -14 and 16 and to the development program for Development District 1 <br />is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12/11/96a <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1982 the City Council of the City of Roseville (the "City") established Development <br />District 1 (the "Development District") and adopted a development district program (the "Program") for the <br />Development District, pursuant to the City Development Districts Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, since that time, the City has established Tax Increment Financing Districts 1 through <br />14 and 16 (collectively, the "TIF Districts") and has adopted tax increment financing plans (collectively, the <br />"TIF Plans") for the TIF Districts, pursuant to the TIF Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Program and the TIF Plans have been modified periodically since their adoption <br />to reflect new or changed circumstances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City believes that another modification of the Program and the TIF Plans is in the <br />best interest of Roseville in order to clarify certain matters and to authorize additional public expenditures; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the modified Program and the TIF Plans have been prepared and are contained in a <br />document entitled "Modification of Development District Program, Development District 1 and Modification <br />of Tax Increment Financing Plans, Tax Increment Financing Districts 1 through 14 and 16, City of <br />Roseville" dated December 16, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the modified Program and TIF Plans have been reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission for their consistency with the City's comprehensive plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning commission that the proposed <br />modifications of the Program and the TIF Plans are consistent with the City's goals and objectives as <br />outlined in the City's comprehensive plan. <br /> <br />Dated: December 11, 1996 <br /> <br />Keith Wietecki <br />Chairperson <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Dennis P.
