<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Member Wilke and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Wietecki, Wilke, Rhody, Cunningham, Sandstrom and the following voted against the <br />same: None. <br /> <br />WHERE UPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />7(c) Larpenteur Avenue Design Program <br /> <br />Jeff Martin, the City landscape architect consultant, provided background on the <br />Larpenteur Avenue Corridor Study, especially the 2.5 miles from Hamline <br />Avenue to Dale Street. <br /> <br />Member Wilke expressed concern with traffic volume, reduced land widths, traffic <br />calming and motorists taking alternate routes such as County Road B. A general <br />discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Dennis Welsch noted that the staff will bring the Larpenteur Avenue Study back <br />to the Planning Commission for Comprehensive Plan direction in 1997. <br /> <br />8. Information. Reports. and Other Business: <br /> <br />8(a-c) Dennis Welsch provided verbal updates on Centre Pointe, 35W Gateway <br />and annual reviews for the Comprehensive Plan.
