Robert Schroeder is requesting variances to reduce <br />the setback from the ordinary high water level of McCarrons Lake to 10' <br />and the front yard setback to 27.5' for the purpose of constructing a 12' x <br />32' addition on a non-conforming residential structure at 257 South <br />McCarrons Boulevard. <br />Member Harms opened the public hearing and requested Dennis Welsch <br />present a summary, based on written reports dated July 8, 1998, of the <br />application for variances by Robert Schroeder, 257 South McCarrons Boulevard. <br />? <br />DennisWelsch discussed Mr. Schroeders request for a 12' x 32' addition to the <br />pre-existing non-conforming architecturally designed home. He indicated <br />ordinary high water level setback variance of 65'; front yard variance (from <br />McCarrons Lake) of 2.5'; that the addition was on the southwest corner of the <br />building and would be constructed to conform to handicap accessibility. <br />The applicant, Bob Schroeder, presented his architect, Matt Dean, 634 <br />Minnesota Building, St. Paul. Member Mulder asked if existing roofline would be <br />followed? (yes).
