b) The City will designate two demographically representative areas of at least 100 households; one of which will serve as the pilot area and the second and the control area. b) The Contractor will collect and maintain records of participation and tonnages collected under the City wide recycling program in the pilot area and a designated control area during a six-month period before single-stream collection begins and share all information with the City. c) The Contractor will collect and maintain records of participation and tonnages collected in the pilot area and a designated control area during the period of single-stream collection and share all information with the City. d) Contractor will work with City on a survey ofresidents in both the pilot and control areas. City will pay for all costs associated with conducting the survey. e) Contractor will use a designated single-stream recycling processing facility and collect and maintain records of out- throw and residual rates for the pilot and control areas during the 12-month study period and share all information with the City. f) Contractor agrees to work with the City if it decides to incorporate other features into the pilot program, and, by mutual written agreement, will be reasonably compensated for any additional services provided. 22. Penalties a) Missed Collection $25.00 for each missed collection above three misses per collection day, to be assessed at the end of each collection month.
