The City standard residential and commercial streetlight types shall be <br />used along the Major Roadways. <br /> <br />C. Theme Area Street Lighting <br /> <br />The following additional requi=ents shall be followed for street lighting within <br />designated Theme Areas. Theme Areas may overlay Residential/Commercial Street <br />Lighting and/or Major Roadway Street Lighting areas and may require street light <br />amenities different than those in non-Theme Areas. <br /> <br />1. Street lighting Theme Areas will be established by the City Council for <br />certain portions of the City. The pllIpOse of the Theme Areas is to create a <br />special identity through uniform street lighting. . <br />2. All street lighting within each of the designated Theme Areas shall have <br />consistent design features approved by the City Council. These consistent <br />design features may include a specific streetliglit pole and/or luminaire <br />type and/or a specific amenity (banner, medallion, etc.). <br />3. The use of the City standard residential and commercial street light types <br />is not required within the Theme Areas. <br />
