Thomas suggested that the Commission set an agenda for <br />the year. Zalk suggested an open meeting of local <br />commissions (Rosevi1Ie, New Brighton, Arden Hills, <br />Maplewood, Falcon Heights) and the Department so that <br />the Department can update commissions on its progress <br />(for example, how it was able to dramatically reduce its <br />backlog of cases). Proposed meeting for November at Har <br />Mar Mall Auditorium. Thomas will call Commissioner <br />Johnson to set a date. Zielske recommended that further <br />discussion of the agenda be deferred until the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />III. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 1985. <br /> <br />IV.
