The city's Affirmative Action Plan: <br />The Commission discussed the City's proposed Affirma- <br />tive Action Plan and Program. A motion was made, and <br />passed unanimously, that the Commission wholly endorses <br />the Plan, commends Ron Moorse and his staff for their <br />efforts in developing the Plan, and recommends that the <br />City Council adopt the Plan. <br /> <br />The Commission requested that they be kept up-to-date <br />on the city's progress in implementing the Affirmative <br />Action Plan. <br /> <br />The Commission also discussed various approaches to <br />minority recruitment. <br /> <br />IV. Next Meetinq <br />The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 1989, <br />at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />V. Adiournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br />
